Have you power-cycled your Roku 3 yet (unplug from the power source, wait a. Every movie I watch, the subtitles are off by about 2 seconds.
I am playing purchased legitimate DVDs on my PC with Windows 10 Home upgraded from Windows 7 Home. While the DVDs play normally, I cannot activate subtitles as some of the dialogue is difficult to understand at times. This is such a basic element of DVD movies and the boxes state that a number of subtitle language options are available, including alternate audio tracks. They played fine under Windows 7 Home and I was able to activate subtitles there.I can only state that I have Windows 10 Home installed. I tried the various options to find out the exact installation version but all I can see in 'Windows 10 Home'In previous versions of Windows it might have given a build code or some other reference to exactly which version I had installed. It seems that things have gone from bad to worse since I upgraded from Windows 7.The most frequent error I get is in Explorer with the message '(Not responding)' and then crashing frequently. Restarting the computer takes so long. Even Task Manager does not always restart Explorer telling me that I do not have privileges. I am the onlyaccount on the computer and it is set as an administrator.I'm running an Intel Quad Core 2.4GHz CPU with 4GB RAM.I have run DVD Player on Apple's OS X on a Dual Core MacMini 2.33GHz with 2GB RAM with no issues - it's just the monitor is too small (19') while my Windows box is connected to a 26' monitor.

Hi, I just purchased and downloaded a movie via the Movies & TV app in Windows 10. However, I live in the Netherlands and the app INSISTS on displaying Dutch subtitles (which I don't want as I'm quite fluent in English and they distract me).I've searched and searched, but I've only found solutiosn to people who want to turn on or add subtitles to a video, not turn them off.Again, this is for the Movie & TV app in Windows 10, which - as far as I know - is the only app I can use to play movies that I've purchased in the Store.So.
How do I do this.? There is no 'CC' shown when in play the movie.Thanks!Arnout. CC is for captions which are required by law in the US (they're always in English at a minimum) and can be turned on and off by the user.Subtitles are different and are typically burnt into the content. It's unfortunate that the PC store doesn't display subtitle information, and I'll file a bug with that team.As a workaround, you can use the website to buy content if you desire, I've confirmed that it does displayaudio and subtitle information.I suspect you'll run into issues buying US content due to a mismatch of physical location, account region and billing information.
